About Ozark Eye Center

Ozark Eye Center was founded in 1984 and was first located in The Village Mall. Ozark Eye Center then moved to the current location in 1990 where a 6000 square foot state of the art facility, including north central Arkansas’ 1st and the state of Arkansas’ 4th Ambulatory Surgery Center, was built. Due to continued growth, Ozark Eye Center's facility expanded to 17,000 square feet in 2006 to include more clinical, surgical, and optical space.

Physicians at Ozark Eye Center have introduced many “innovations in ophthalmology” to the twin lakes area including: surgery outside of a hospital setting (ambulatory surgery center), phacoemulsification and small incision cataract surgery, no-stitch cataract surgery, radial keratotomy (RK), and injections of Avasitn and Lucentis for Wet Macular Degeneration.

Kenneth A. Jones, M.D. joined Ozark Eye Center in 1987. He is a board certified ophthalmologist and a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. Jones received his medical degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA and interned at United States Air Force Medical Center, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. He was a flight surgeon based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and completed his ophthalmology residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA. Dr. Jones is a colonel in USAFR with 26 years of service. He is a commercial and instrument rated pilot.

Whitney D. McFall, O.D. was raised in Norfork, AR and graduated from college at the University of Central Arkansas. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, TN and joined our staff in 2006.

William D. Hill, M.D. is a graduate of Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO. He went on to receive his medical degree from Louisiana State University, New Orleans, LA. Dr. Hill interned at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, New Orleans, LA. He then went on to complete his residency at Louisiana State University and Ochsner Hospital where he was Chief Resident.
